You want to learn more about me? Cool!
In short, I’m a nerd from Connecticut that really likes drawing and playing video games; to the point of wanting to make it my career.
The long version, however: I’ve been into art ever since I could hold a crayon and video games since I could remember getting my first copy of Pokémon Yellow. Matter of fact, I liked them so much that I decided to get two damn degrees for them!
The first one I got is an Associate’s in Fine Arts: Graphic Design. I got that one from Middlesex Community College in CT. My second is a Bachelor’s in Graphic/Information Design from Central Connecticut State University.
While in school, I got the opportunity to have a couple internships at Wesleyan University and at my second college where I got to make posters, brochures and other cool stuff that actually got used around their campuses! Before I graduated, my boyfriend and I have been working on a project that we’ve called Our Lore.
Our Lore is a fantasy/sci-fi multiverse (and that’s putting it simply) full of all sorts of characters and stories that we want to tell. The reason I think it should be mentioned here is that in order to tell these stories, we utilize much of our design, art and writing skills to make the characters and world feel like it’s truly alive!
